Donald Lee Ball

Donald Lee Ball, 88, of Parkersburg passed away May 6, 2020 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1931 in Ritchie County, WV and was the son of the late Ada Riggs and Hugh Ball. Donald is retired from the Parkersburg Fire Department and had a concrete finishing business. Donald was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed gardening, yardwork, bird watching and spending the winters in Florida in the motor home with his late wife Patricia Rose Stephens. Left behind to cherish his memory, is his daughter Alicia Lee (Joe) of Parkersburg; daughter in law, Rae Runyon; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and recent addition to the family Tina Korns. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sons, William and Gary Runyon; brother, Clifford Ball; twin sister Doris Hayes and sisters Mary Little and Eva Coe. Due to the current health conditions there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
