Dianna Lynn Powell

Surrounded by loved ones, Dianna Lynn Powell, 61, of Parkersburg, W.Va. transitioned on May 25, 2017. Dianna was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Norval and Eleanor Cumberledge Powell. She was a loving mother to Kisha and Jason and a future mother-in-law to Danielle Turpin.Dianna was a dedicated sidekick to grandchildren, Draven, Slayden, Bryceston and Westin.She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend.In her life, she touched the hearts of many with her sense of humor and her dedication to family.Dianna was a straight forward, no-nonsense, hardworking woman.She had never met a stranger and will be missed by anyone lucky enough to have met her. Her children extend special thanks to Bud and Sherry Powell for supporting them through this difficult time and to Dr. Kelil and his staff at CCMC for their support during her stay there. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her life at Parkersburg City Park, Pavilion 10, at 2 P.M., Saturday, June 10, 2017.The Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
