Delta Katherine Hardway

Delta Katherine Hardway, 95, of Parkersburg passed away at her residence on March 20, 2017.She was born February 13, 1922 in Fayette County, WV to the late Preston Hansford and Edith Florence Snodgrass White. She was a member of Marrtown Road church of Christ and was a homemaker.She was a seamstress and loved quilting. She is survived by one son, James Preston Hardway of Parkersburg, WV, five daughters, Ilonna (Robert) Buchannon of Marietta, Ohio, Delta Maureen Dailey of Walker, WV, Emma Margaret Lockhart of Parkersburg, Glenna Jean Pinter of Sanford, Florida and Donna M. (Fred) Yoho of Parkersburg, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a half-sister, Letha Cantrell of Gassaway, WV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Hardway, two sons Carmel B. Hardway and Coleman K. Hardway, one granddaughter, Lindsay, and one great-granddaughter, Shelby, two brothers and two sisters. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Noon at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Evangelist Randy Yerby officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery, PeeWee, WV.Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
