Deloris G Black

Deloris G. Black, 66, of Waverly, WV passed away October 29, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.She was born September 16, 1953 in Wood County to the late Halbert and Sylvia Jane Lowther Wyatt.She had done Senior Daycare in her own home and had previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Willows and was also a Crossing Guard.She loved doing crafts and Adult coloring books. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert Black, her daughter, Amanda Black both of Waverly and a son, Bobby (Jenny) Black of Vienna, a special grandson, David Black, a brother, Walter (Kathy) Lowther of Fort Bridger, Wyoming, a sister, Louise Smith of Parkersburg and a caregiver whom she thought of as a daughter, Tonya Malone. A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Evangelist Elvis Galbreath officiating.There will also be a Gathering of Friends and Family prior to the Service on Wednesday beginning a Noon.
