Dolores Ruth "Ruthie"Wingrove, 82, of Waverly, W.Va. passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1932 at Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Ina Cunningham Moore. She had worked as a meat packer, later, in central supply at St. Joseph's Hospital and as a tax preparer at H & R Block. She had assisted with 4-H and P.T.A. and was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. "Family and Farm" had always been very important to her. Ruth is survived by her husband, Luther B. Wingrove; two daughters, Debbie Wingrove of Waverly, W.Va. and Jean Cutlip (Don) of Williamstown, W.Va.; one son, Lewis Wingrove (Becky) of Waverly, W.Va.; one brother, Darrell Moore (Mary) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Joe Crudele, Rebecca Crudele, Mary Ann Smith, Holly Hall and L.B. Wingrove; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Quinton Fleming; a sister-in-law, Bertha Moore of Williamstown, W.Va.; a brother-in-law, Dean Wilkinson of Florida; and special friends, Peggy Moore and Mark Crudele. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Moore (Betty), Ed Moore and Clayton Moore (Pauline); and one sister, Betty Wilkinson. Funeral services will be 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Bull Run Road, Waverly, W.Va.Reverend Wayne Brown and Reverend Gene Full will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., Tuesday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg, W.Va. and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
