David M. Wolfe

David M. Wolfe, 73, of St. Mary’s, WV passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.

The son of the late Howard Ross Wolfe and Geneva Irene Gatrell Wolfe, David was born March 18, 1950, in Parkersburg, WV.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He devoted 45 years of service working in a local chemical plant and he was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge 1701 in St. Mary’s, WV. David will also be remembered for enjoying hunting, fishing, and being a talented knife maker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard “Buck” R. Wolfe, Jr. and William “Huck” R. Wolfe; one sister, Linda L. Stalnaker; and one daughter, Melissa D. Harlow.

David is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kathy L. Wolfe, of St. Mary’s; one daughter, Alicia Hodge, of Florida; three sons, Matthew Wolfe, of Florida and Joey R. Burke and Steven (Lee) T. Bowe Sr., both of St. Mary’s; one brother, Richard (Lois) A. Wolfe, of Florida; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
