David Hunter Swain

David Hunter Swain, ''Milkcrate,'' 65, of Belleville, WV, passed away Jan. 31, 2019 at Belpre Landing. He was born March 9, 1953 in Wood County to Pearl Hunter and Fanchon Wagal Swain, Jr. He was a 1972 Graduate of Parkersburg South High School and worked for the WV Department of Highways for 33 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved riding Motorcycles and Four-Wheelers and was a former member of Flying Circle Motorcycle Club in Parkersburg, WV. In addition to his parents, left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Kevin (April) Swain of Parkersburg, WV and Tyson (Jolene) Swain of Alaska, two sisters, Donna (Larry) Wright of Belleville, WV and Doreen Crall (Fiancee, Tim Reed) of St. Clairsville, Ohio, several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and his Best Friends, Charlie Smith and Raymond Stout. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Alicia Swain. The family would like to express special thanks to Belpre Landing for their care of David.
