David Michael Sams

David Michael Sams, 37, of Parkersburg passed away January 25, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born December 3, 1981 in Wood County to Richard D. Sams and the late Janice Butcher.He was a 2001 Graduate of Parkersburg High School and was an avid Wrestling Fan. In addition to his father, he is survived by his grandfather, Clifford Butcher, one aunt, Mary Eagle of Parkersburg, three uncles, David (Patty) Butcher of Seaford, Delaware, Clifford (Christy) Butcher of Parkersburg and Mike (Karen) Butcher of Pennsylvania, several cousins and his Faithful Companion, Leah. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by an infant sister, Jennifer Lynn Sams. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with D. Bradley Kimes officiating.Visitation will also be on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.Cremation will follow. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
