David H. Deem

David H. Deem, 61, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. David was born in Norfolk, Virginia March 6, 1956.He was the son of the late Ray Howard Deem, Jr. and Rhondda Lada Godfrey Deem. David retired after forty-two years of service in restorative nursing care.His employment was continuous at the former Turtle Creek Convalescent Center which became Parkview Nursing and later Eagle Point in Parkersburg. He was Methodist by faith. David is survived by his cousin, James Bennon and wife, Judy, of Parkersburg. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg, with Corporate Chaplain Mark Joseph officiating.There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
