David Allen Curry

David Allen Curry, 61, of Parkersburg passed away May 12, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born December 21, 1957 in Wood County, WV to Shirley Miller Stroehman and the late Wade Curry.He was a Conductor for the CSX Railroad and was a U. S. Army Veteran, a lifetime member of the DAV, American Legion and VFW Post 1212.He enjoyed classic cars, hunting and fishing. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Shirley Stroehman of Parkersburg a son, James Allen (Taffy) Curry of Elizabeth, three grandchildren, Caleb and Noah Curry and Shad Knight, a brother, Michael (Sandra) Curry of Sandyville, WV and two sisters, Terry Waybright of Vienna and Teena Meacham of East Amherst, New York. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating.Visitation will also be on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
