Cynthia K. Adkins

Cynthia "Cindy" Kay Adkins, 59, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Cindy was born February 8, 1960 at Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles and Betty Lou Anderson Nuzum. She was a graduate of Fairmont State University; a homemaker; a collector of many things, including angels, carousels and especially Harry Potter memorabilia; but probably best known for her excellent cooking and baking skills. Cindy is survived by two daughters, Summer Adkins (Billy) of Williamstown, W.Va. and Whitney Adkins of Woodbridge, Va.; three sons, Mark S. Adkins, II (Kristin) of Vienna, Justin Adkins (Kassi) of Parkersburg and Jared Adkins (Hope Kimble) of Vienna; and five grandchildren, Wade Stephenson, Jimmy Stephenson, Conner Stephenson, Bailee Snodgrass and Icelynn Adkins. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Steven Adkins on September 11, 2017. At Cindy's request there will be no visitation or services.The Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
