Connie Sue Farnsworth

Connie Sue Farnsworth, 78, of Vienna passed away May 13, 2017 at her home.She was born March 29, 1939 in Wood County, WV to the late Ona Howard and Wanda Mae Britton Hurst.She spent her career as a Personal Secretary and Accountant at a variety of private and Public Institutions.She attended Mt. State Business College and was an active member of Bethel Baptist.She was a member of Good News Sunday School Class, Treasurer of Mission Board at Bethel Baptist, Church Treasurer and enjoyed camping and her cats “Anna” and “Skippy.” She is survived by her husband and Best Friend, William Russell Farnsworth, one daughter, Kimberly Ann “Kim” Flanigan of Vienna, two sons, Doug Farnsworth of Vienna,Eric Farnsworth and (Susan Davis) of Washington, WV, three grandchildren, Michael Shane (Christie) Flanigan of Vienna, Steven (Becky) Farnsworth of Rockport and Emily Farnsworth of Vienna and severalnieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother, an infant sister, Linda Lee Hurst and an infant grandson, Aron Farnsworth. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Randy Kochesberger officiating.Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
