Connie Beatrice Allman, formerly of Belpre, Ohio, lived for the last several years at Harmar Place in Marietta, Ohio, passed into her eternal life on April 10, 2025, at Harmar Place.
She was born on August 03, 1936, daughter of Archie Allman and Naomi Allman. Her father died when she was a child and Connie's Mother later remarried to Charles Swain, who became her loving stepfather. Connie was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepfather, and brother, Ray Wenzel Allman.
She and her mother collected Fenton Art Glass and Middleton Dolls. Connie was a loving caring person who was loved by all folks who knew her. She is now embracing her Savior in Heaven.
Connie was a very talented artist, she enjoyed drawing, painting, calligraphy, crafts, and music. Connie played piano, organ and other instruments. She enjoyed singing Gospel Music with her family and was a member of the Grace Gospel Church in Pettyville, West Virginia. For a period of years, Connie worked as a secretary. Then in later years, she worked as a domestic with several clients.
She is survived by her cousin, Patricia Duckworth and her husband Joseph, and other family. Connie will be missed.
We thank the staff at Harmar Place for all the love and care given to her. Everyone at Harmar Place was wonderful to her and to us.
Connie will be laid to rest in the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, with Pastor Jamie Sprague officiating. Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home is assisting with final arrangements.
