Clara Delores Mcvey

Clara D. McVey, 90, of Parkersburg passed away October 17, 2017 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home.She was born June 20, 1927 to the late Howard W. and Stella Chapman Adams.She was a homemaker, enjoyed listening to music and socializing with friends and family.She had a heart of gold and loved everyone she knew. She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Daisy) McVey and Dennis (Barb) McVey and one daughter, Darlene McVey all of Parkersburg, WV, fourteen grandchildren, Toni, Tabitha, T. J., Tonya, Mike, Jennifer, Samantha, Kimmy, Justin, Johnna, Josh, Courtney, Collin and Jacob, several great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She is also survived by three brothers, Delmar, Joe and Calvin, and two sisters, Rosemary and Dorothy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Neil Joshua McVey, a son, Roger McVey, a step-son, Mike McVey, three brothers, Philip, George and Stephen Adams. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11 am at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Evangelist John Rockhold, III officiating.Burial will follow at Wadesville Cemetery.Visitation will be on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home.
