Chloe Lynn Barre

In the early morning of February 10, 2025, our world stopped as Chloe was tragically taken in a SxS accident.

Chloe Lynn Barre, 22, of Parkersburg, was born September 25, 2002, to Chris and Bridgett Barre. Chloe is survived by her two little sisters, Cami and Cali; nephew, Cayson; maternal grandfather, Sam Dowler; maternal great-grandmother, Corrine Robinson; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Hardman (Wayne); paternal grandfather, Gary Barre (Brenda); Paternal great-grandfather, Charlie Barre; uncles, Mike Dowler and Corey Barre (Emily); cousins, Dillon, Derick, and Karleigh Dowler and Katelyn, Killian, and Kaegan Barre;  along with many great aunts, uncles, distant cousins; an endless number of friends, especially Makayla Thomas, Brilynn Florence, and Taylor (Cody) Hunt and their two boys Ryder and Creed; and her beloved cat, Gypsy.

Chloe was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Pam Dowler and paternal great grandmother, Mary Casto.

To know Chloe, she never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face that could light up a room.

Chloe graduated from Parkersburg South High School with the class of 2020. Chloe worked for Texas Roadhouse of Parkersburg and The Galley in Marietta as a server. Where she met so many wonderful friends and a few second moms. Chloe loved and cherished her work family.

Chloe was an artist at heart from drawing to writing. She excelled in doing make-up and enjoyed getting all the brides and bridesmaids ready for their big day. If you knew Chloe, you knew Chloe was a girly girl.

Her motto in life was "the good ones show up late" and "always leave a little sparkle wherever you go".

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Tim Craddock officiating. Her family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home.
