Charles Eugene Wines

Charles Eugene Wines, 84, of Washington, WV went Home to be with his Heavenly Family on November 11, 2018.He was born June 19, 1934 in Wirt County, WV to the late Roy A. and Edith I. McPherson Wines.He was a Carpenter, a U. S. Army Veteran in the Berlin Crisis, a member of Fairview United Methodist where he was a Trustee for several years.He loved children and using his carpentry skills to provide gifts for them.He also enjoyed deer hunting. He is survived by his wife Toby Lowers Wines, adopted son, Gary R. (Melanie) Wines of Georgia, his step-son, Steve (Beth) Gabbert and his step-daughter, Anita (Steve) Murphy, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother, Paul Robert Wines of Jackson County, WV, and two sisters, Helen (Eugene) Wyantof Jackson County, WV and Sue (Ted) Stockholm of Georgia. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kay Wines Sines, two brothers, Larry and James Wines and his first wife, Wanda Powell Wines. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Fairview United Methodist Church, New England Ridge Road, Washington, WV with Pastor Ed Lowe officiating.Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Memorial Donations may be made to the Burlington United Methodist Family Services, Inc., Burlington, WV.The Family would like to say thank you to Housecalls Hospice for the wonderful help, support and care they gave to Charles.
