Charles William Naylor

Charles William Naylor passed away on June 21, 2019 in Fort Myers Florida at the age of 88. Charles was born in Wood County West Virginia April 4, 1931, and was a former resident of 10th Avenue in Vienna. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school and served in the Korean War as a Radio Operator on the U.S.S Hollister. After his service Charles was a Production Supervisor at Borg-Warner Chemical. Charles was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in North Fort Myers and formerly, Vienna Baptist Church. He is survived by his Beloved wife of 65 years, Polly, Daughter Kathryn (Bruce) Sherman, Son Larry (Carrie) Naylor, and Grandchildren Elizabeth, Matthew, Joseph and Emily. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lessie Naylor, Sisters, Juanitia and Beulah and brother Dr. Herbert Naylor. His funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with military graveside rites conducted by Post 15 American Legion Parkersburg. Family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
