Charles M. Higginbotham

Charles Morgan Higginbotham, 85, of Parkersburg, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, just one day shy of his birthday, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Parkersburg.

He was born in Elkview, West Virginia to the late Charles and Henrietta Westfall Higginbotham.

Charles enjoyed horses, traveling, and cooking, and he adored his grandchildren.

He was a devoted family man. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna Jo Shreves Higginbotham; four children, Jeffrey Higginbotham (Patricia), Tamra Bunner, Melinda Jo Clark and Christopher (Kim) Higginbotham; eight grandchildren, Travis Bunner (Morgan), Zach Higginbotham (Brooke), Lauren Davis (Austin), Lynsee Chester (Tristan), Chase Clark, Emily Higginbotham (Gage), C.J. Higginbotham, and Chance Clark (Audrey); three great-grandchildren, Madison, Nolan, and Graham; brother, Lloyd Higginbotham (Barbara); sister-in-law, Bonnie Jenkins; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by four brothers.

There is no immediate visitation or service.
