Charles Edward Hickman

Charles Edward Hickman, 75, of Parkersburg passed away April 28, 2020 at The Willows Nursing home. He was born December 17, 1944 in Parkersburg and he is son of the late Opal Ware and Oscar Hickman. Charles was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and worked at Mahone tires as a laborer for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and playing horseshoes. Left behind to cherish his memory, are his children; John Hickman (Melissa) and Connie Tennant both of Parkersburg and Mark Hickman of Vienna; brother, David Hickman (Debbie) of SC; sisters, Thelma Kimesof Parkersburg and Sharon Seaman (Bud) of Washington, WV; four grandchildren, Steven Hickman and Paul, Billy and Eric Tennant; and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild Ron Carpenter. Funeral services will be private for the immediate family at this time due to the current health situations.
