Charles E. Heater

Charles E. Heater, 82, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Rockland Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Belpre.

He was born October 2, 1940, at Parkersburg, West Virginia, a son of the late Charles and Irene Buchannan Heater.

Chuck was a 1960 graduate of PHS and worked with Sheet Metal Workers Local Number 33. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved spending time with his family, and taking long drives with his wife.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Peggy Wigal Heater; son, Charles J. Heater of Cutler, Ohio; and grandchildren, Carlie Rae Heater and Peyton LeAnn Heater.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Alene Smith Wigal; father-in-law, Harvey Wigal; and sister, Anita Moore.

A private graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of his family.
