Carol Lee Goldsborough, 76, Parkersburg passed away December 17, 2016 at her home. She was born April 7, 1940 in Calhoun County a daughter of the late Frank and Etta Jane Mowrey Roberts.She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Trinity U. M. Women, Goodwill Sunday School Class and enjoyed bowling, family and was an animal lover. Surviving is her husband, Rick Goldsborough, one son, Jack Randall (Brenda) Valentine, II of Vincent, Ohio, three daughters Melody Ann (Cecil) Deitrich of New Martinsville, Pamela Sue (Lester) Parker of Chester, Ohio, and Letha Hope (Dave) Hoskinson of Belpre, Ohio and a step-daughter, Melisa (Jeff) Greene of Rocky Pointe, NY, seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.Also surviving are three brothers Jerry (Shirley) Roberts of Paden City,Ronald (Janet) Roberts of Davisville and Steve (Ann) Roberts of Long Bottom, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, Jack Valentine, I, two sisters, Lelah Lawson and Arlene Byrd, a step-mother, Bernice Roberts, two brothers, Brice Roberts and Willis Roberts, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Daniels and Reverend Jim Burdette officiating.Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg and also onehour prior to the funeral service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church
