Brenda Sue Barnette

Brenda Sue Barnette, 60, of Washington, WV passed away peacefully at home after an unexpected brief illness on May 21, 2019.She was born August 25, 1958 in Parkersburg to the late John Albert and Martha Jean Randolph Runyon.She was a Social Worker for ResCare with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.She was dedicated to this profession of serving others for 35 years.Spending time with her family was her passion and she also loved reading. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Marvin E. Barnette and her son, Justin A. Barnette of Washington, WV, one brother, James E. (Barb) Runyon of Parkersburg and a sister, Barbara A. (Roger) Finney of Commerce Twp., MI, three nephews, Jacob Finney, Tyler Finney and Jonathan Runyon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Father-In-Law, Adrian E. Barnette and Mother-In-Law, Clara E. Barnette. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Janet Richards officiating.Visitation will also be on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
