Bonnie Matheny

Bonnie Matheny, 46, of Williamstown, passed away in the presence of family on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her residence.Bonnie was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of Samuel F. and Doris Jean Payton Matheny of Williamstown. Bonnie graduated from Belmont Elementary School Special Education in 1991.Bonnie never met a stranger and loved country music.She, along with her parents, had visited Nashville on several occasions. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is survived by one sister, Debbie Dean and husband J.L. Dean of Williamstown; one brother, Buck Matheny and companion Tracey Peters of Friendly, WV.; niece and nephews, Chris Matheny, Kent Dean, and Charity Dean; and cousin, Lea Ann Johns.Bonnie especially loved her pet Shitz-Tzu dog, "Chubby". Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg with Pastor Doug Guinn officiating.Services will conclude with interment in the Willow Island Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
