Beulah “Boots” White-Powell, 88, of Parkersburg passed away August 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 26, 1928 in Parkersburg a daughter of the late Ira and Clara Burkey Nutter.She was a Licensed Cosmetologist and owner of Boot’s Beauty Boutique and worked for South Parkersburg Realty devoting her life to both her shop and the realty business.She also invested her time decorating her home and traveling to Amish Country. She loved and spent much time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Denis White of Parkersburg and a daughter, Tawnda (Howard) Black of Mineral Wells, WV, two grandchildren, Shelly (Craig) Wiggins and Kristy Black, four great- grandchildren, Dalton and Brodie Wiggins, Kiahna Harris and Keegan Sheppard, and one sister, Lillian Hibbard of Parkersburg. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde E. White and her second husband, John R. Powell, her sister, Catherine Nutter and a brother, Floyd Nutter. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Rob Collins officiating and burial following at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
