Betty J. Leek

Betty J. Leek, 79, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at her residence.

She was born February 12, 1945, a daughter of the late Shirley and Francis Moore Lipscomb.

Betty worked as a waitress at the Olympic Deli and May Flower restaurants. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and was a loving and caring mother.

Her memory will be cherished by those who loved her dearly, including her four children, Ella Hartley, Patty Gains, William Sprouse, and Rebecca Dearth; sister, Johnnie Ferrebee; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Alan Hodges and Richard Sprouse; two sisters, Linda Lipscomb and Mary Hodges; and two brothers, Butch Lipscomb and Roger Lipscomb.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation.
