Betty Lou Elliott

Betty Lou Elliott, 89, of Parkersburg, WV passed away December 18, 2018 at her residence.She was born September 7, 1929 in Parkersburg to the late Charles and Bertha Crites Hall.She was a member of Southside Southern Baptist Church and had been employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Montgomery Wards, O’Ames and Mr. Bee’s Potato Chip Company.She enjoyed crocheting and was known for her pumpkin pies and potato salad. She is survived by a son, George S. (Sharon) Elliott of Lubeck, WV, four daughters, Tonda (Mark) Blair of Zepher Hills, Florida, Becky (Lynn) Campbell of Savannah, Tennessee, Callie Elliott and Tricia Eaton, both of Parkersburg, WV, nine grandchildren, Betsi, Billy, Dustin, Nicole, Derek (Odie), Jessica, Hannah, Morgan and Malari, and nine great-grandchildren, Scotty, Jack, Carter, Lucas, Kristen, Persie, Nova, Russell and Journey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Elliott and one brother, Charles Hall. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Joseph Ward officiating.Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will also be on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 10 am until 1 p.m. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.kimesfuneralhome.com
