Betty Jo Buskirk

Betty Jo Buskirk, 83, of Vienna, WV passed away on Decemer 4, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 4, 1932 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Arthur R. and Nellie Deem Stanley.Betty had attended Belleville United Methodist Church. She was a Nurse’s Aide for St. Joseph Hospital and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting and doing crafts. Surviving are her two sons, Gary F. (Marsha) Buskirk of Parkersburg, and Mark D. (Terry) Buskirk of Washington, WV, her daughter, Cathy Spiker (Bob Grossnickle) of Reedsville, Ohio, one brother, Richard Stanley of Melbourne, Florida, her grandchildren, Michelle Puccio, Stephanie Barnhart, Alexandria Barker-Barnhart, Eric Buskirk, Debra Simons, Christina Layton, Jason Buskirk, Jessica Burkey, and Jennifer Ross, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Buskirk, three infant children, one great grandchild, three brothers, Ken, Delbert and Dale Stanley, four sisters, Bea Knaus, Hazel Cooper, Mary Buskirk and Ilene Morris. Funeral Services will be on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Evangelist John Rockhold, III officiating.Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.Visitation will also be on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Kimes Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.kimesfuneralhome.com
