Betty Marie Begunich

Betty Marie Begunich, 79, of Ravenswood passed away after battle with cancer Saturday, October 22, 2022, at her home.

A daughter of the late James and Ethel Smith Patterson, she was born August 18, 1943, in Ripley, West Virginia. She worked as an Admissions Coordinator for ElderCare of Ripley and enjoyed gardening, fishing, jig-saw puzzles, flea markets and attending concerts.

Betty’s loved ones remain, including her companion of 22 years, Jimmy Waugh; daughter, Cheryl Clark (Paul); son, Michael Allman; grandchildren, Jared, Jessica “Miss Priss”, Christopher, Nicole, and Brittany; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul E. Patterson (Lorraine).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Betty had recorded her final requests in a prearrangement and in keeping with her wishes there will be no public visitation or service at this time.
