Beryl Ann Greathouse

July 9, 1937 — February 6, 2025

Beryl Ann Greathouse, 87, of Mineral Wells, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 6, 2025. She was born July 9, 1937, in Parkersburg, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. David "Bunt" Provance and Emma Headley Provance, her husband Edward W. Greathouse and her sister Marjorie Jean Provance Young (Ira Clayton).

She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and was ready to go home. Beryl was a homemaker for most of her years; but did work in her younger years at S.S. Kresge Co. and Kmart. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed doing so. She was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and loved teaching kids about the Lord. She was also the Vacation Bible School Director.

She is survived by her children, Edward Jr., Rockie (Pam), Greathouse, Pebble (Brian) Freeland, Stoney (Jeanne) Greathouse; her grandchildren, April (Mike) Smearman, Eric, Paige, Cole (Taylor), Cody (Hannah), Austin Greathouse, Courtney (Codie) Richards, Brant (Shelby) Freeland; great grandchildren, Grace and Ayden Smearman, Oaklinn, Rowen, Kamryn Greathouse and Waylen Richards.

We would like to express our gratitude to Amedisys Hospice for all of their help and support.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home, 421 5th Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia with Pastor Jerry Caplinger and Pastor Ron Hendershot officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
