Barbara Lee Louden

Barbara Lee Higgins Louden, 82, of Parkersburg passed away October 1, 2017 at her residence.She was born January 13, 1935 in Parkersburg to the late D. Paul and Muriel Bailey Higgins.She was Assistant Manager at G. C. Murphy Company for 35 years and retired from Vienna Wal-Mart after 25 years of service as Sales Associate and later as Door Greeter.She loved decorating her home for the Holidays. She is survived by her only child, Mark Louden, of Newark, Ohio, her only granddaughter, Marissa (Christopher) Ingram of Parkersburg, one brother, John (Sue) Higgins of Summerville, South Carolina and her sister, Janet (Charles) Davis of Vienna and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Gene Higgins, an infant sister and four other sisters, Norma Higgins, Roberta Dye, Mary Jo Allen and Peg Roush and a special friend, George Myer. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV with Reverend Ryan Brooks and Jerri Green officiating.Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.A private inurnment of ashes will follow at a later date.
