Austin Adkins

Austin Adkins, 72, of Belleville, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Logan, West Virginia, a son of the late Golden and Mattie Carter Adkins.

Austin leaves behind loved ones including his daughter, Kristie Townsend (Steve) of Belleville; son, Jeremy Adkins of Parkersburg; siblings, Jimmy Adkins (Betty) of Omar, West Virginia, Allen Adkins (Patty) of Florida, Tony Adkins (Teresa) of Tennessee, and Jack Adkins of Gilbert, West Virginia; very special brother-in-law, Charlie “Jerry” White (Sarah) of Tennessee; grandchildren, Dalton Richards (Jasmine) of Vienna, West Virginia, Tommy Adkins (Maddie), Lexus Adkins, Sierra Fields (Brennan); step-grandchildren, Darren Townsend and Logan Townsend; and great-grandchildren, Maxten Richards, Zayden Dillon, Gracie Mae Richards, and Vaydoh Fields.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, B. Linda Adkins in 2021; a sister, Frankie, and an infant sister.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public visitation. Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home is honored to assist with final arrangements.
