Anna Lois Mackey

Anna Lois Mackey, 91, of Parkersburg, WV passed away September 13, 2020 at The Wyngate Assisted Living.She was born September 27, 1928 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Smith Fankhauser.She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School Class of 1946 and was also a graduate of Mountain State College.She retired from G. E. Plastics after thirty years of service.She was also a member of Alpha Iota Sorority, Worthington Women’s Golf Club, American Legion Auxiliary Post 15 and a member of First Lutheran Church of Parkersburg.She loved playing golf and spending time with her many friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Homer F. Mackey in 1957 whom she married in 1952. Left behind to cherish her memory are her two children, Molly Mackey (Tom) Breazeale of Bluffton, S. C. and Timothy Mackey of Davisville, WV, and one grandson, Tyler Breazeale of Washington, D.C. There will be a private funeral service at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Ian Reid officiating.Burial will follow at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.Masks and social distancing are required.
