Alice Virginia Cole

Alice Virginia Cole, 82, formerly of Belpre, Ohio passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Marietta Center, Marietta, Ohio. Alice was born November 26, 1931 at Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Albert and Nellie Hupp Flinn. Alice had spent most of her adult life providing loving care for the elderly. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Crites (Steve) of Belpre, Ohio and Letha Barb Lalonde (Dr. Boyd) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; three sons, Jeff Sutherland (Debbie) of Winnabow, N.C., Wade Curran of Greenville, S.C. and Denver Wise (Lois) of St. Albany, Ohio; one sister, Hazel Eddy of Marietta, Ohio; one brother Carl Flinn (Kathy) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Curran; three grandchildren; and eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Friday, November 21, 2104 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg.Reverend Ralph Tisdale will officiate and interment will be in the Pleasant Home Cemetery, Belleville, W.Va.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
