Aletha Delray Knox

Aletha Delray Knox, 62, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio.

She was born May 18, 1962, a daughter of the late Jack and Nelda Trent Neaves.

Aletha loved Elvis, Dale Earnhardt, working crossword puzzles and coloring books. She was a Baptist by faith.

Those left to remember her include her daughter, Debra Smith; son, Nathaniel Wood (Brandy); step-daughter, Sheriene Knox; grandchildren, Hayley Wood, Katlyn Wood, Trophi-Lea Hartford, Avarin Smith, and Kaysis Smith; and several siblings including sisters, Sandra Crosby, Ann Jackson, Marcy Hare, and Beverly “Diane” Belt.

In addition to her parents, Aletha was preceded in death by her husband, David Harold Knox and several siblings including a brother, Keith and sister, Denise.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Perine officiating. Services will conclude at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum where she will be entombed. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
