Agnes B. Harkins

Agnes B. Harkins 98, of Richmond, VA, formally of Parkersburg WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 7, 2016 at Autumn Care Of Mechanicsville, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Harry E. Harkins; daughter, Sheila Ann; her granddaughter, Kristina Harkins Vaughn; and nine brothers and sisters. She survived by her children, Harry Jr (Darlene), Leisa George (Chuck), and Donald Edgell (Lorena); 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Agnes greatest joy was caring for her family. She was a prayer warrior and she loved all children and all of God’s creation. Agnes is a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church, Richmond, VA and a former longtime member of Fairlawn Baptist Church, Parkersburg, WV Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Clarence Mathess officiating.Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services on Friday.
